Orbit Coffee Table

This modern design draws its inspiration from mid-century aircraft design. Long before advanced composite materials, aircraft were made both strong and lightweight by using sheet metal bent into efficient shapes. Removing lightly stressed material by punching and flaring large holes further enhanced the structures efficiency and stiffness.

The Orbit table's efficient and aesthetic design is a testament to form following function. The brushed stainless steel structure is cut and formed using computer controlled manufacturing equipment before being hand welded. The welds are then hand ground and blended producing a uniform surface finish. The attention to detail is evident making this piece eye-catching and timeless.
